The LifeKey consulting staff blends a deep knowledge of career management with a special expertise in advising executives exploring career change. At Keystone Partners, we place a very high value on the advice and counsel our consultants provide. As a result, we have developed a staff of experienced and talented career management professionals. We believe our consulting expertise sets us apart. All consultants are Keystone Partners' employees who have made career management their chosen profession. Biographies of selected LifeKey consultants are below.

Jayne Mattson, Senior Vice President of Client Services, Keystone Associates

Jayne Mattson has extensive experience working in the corporate and private sectors of business. At Keystone, Jayne oversees the consulting and delivery services for the Westborough office. She partners with mid- to senor-level clients to support them in their career transitions.  Prior to joining Keystone, Jayne had a private practice as a career management consultant and worked for Millipore Corporation, a Fortune 500 company, where she was responsible for managing a global engineering documentation system.

In addition to her work at Keystone, Jayne is very active with  ACP International, the “world voice” on career management issues. She held leadership roles in the Boston Chapter and was the conference chair for the international conference held in Boston in 2006. Jayne is also a member of the Northeast Human Resources Association and of the MetroWest Programming Committee.  Jayne holds a Master’s degree in Management from Leslie University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from Northeastern University.

Louisa Mattson, Ph.D., Partner, Essex Partners

Louisa Mattson is an Essex career consultant and a business psychologist specializing in the field of career management.  Louisa consults with executive clients providing in-depth assessment and career management strategies.  Additionally, she has developed a unique talent for working with sitting executives to improve on-the-job business performance through coaching and assessment. Louisa also does specialized work with senior women executives, helping them to reach new executive levels, define alternative career paths and improve work/life balance. Her background in education and healthcare includes working at Wesleyan University and The Marino Center for Progressive Health as well as over 20 years in a private consulting practice. Louisa is experienced in a variety of executive assessment inventories useful in career planning and personal development, and has in-depth experience in stress management and performance enhancement techniques. She has advanced training in leading-edge mind/body techniques for addressing "whole person" issues.

Louisa holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Minnesota and has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan. She also has completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Organizational Development and Human Resource Consulting. She is a licensed one-on-one HeartMath® provider and a member of the American Psychological Association and the National Register of Health Service Providers. 

Colin Moor, Senior Vice President, Keystone Associates

Colin Moor is a career consultant and coach with over 20 years of business expertise and career transition, career management and executive coaching experience. During his career, Colin has provided career consulting services to a variety of industries and organizations in the New England area, including those in financial services, software and hardware technology, media, retail, legal, medical, academic and other non-profit sectors. At Keystone, Colin partners with senior-level candidates to help them successfully transition into new opportunities. Previously, Colin held both executive and consulting positions with career management and transition firms where his range of responsibilities included client service delivery, business development, account management and overall operations leadership.

Prior to his years as a career consultant, Colin worked in various professional capacities in the broadcasting, publishing, business consulting and training industries. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Syracuse University. Currently, Colin is Vice Chairman of the Board of the Resource Partnership, a non-profit organization devoted to providing employment services to individuals with disabilities. He is a member of the  Human Resource Leadership Forum and the  Northeast Human Resources Association.

Howard Seidel, Ed.D., J.D., Partner, Essex Partners

Howard Seidel has over 15 years experience as a career and executive coach, guiding hundreds of senior executives in all aspects of career development and change. Dr. Seidel provides clients with an in-depth knowledge into the strategic and tactical elements of the transition process, along with a special expertise in advising senior executives exploring career change. While with the firm, Howard has consulted on career changes and transitions with senior executives from leading organizations spanning a variety of industries, including financial services, biotechnology and life sciences, healthcare and higher education.

Prior, Howard served in several consulting roles at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) where he helped build the company's first external practice in Change Management, and provided executive coaching. He also led the company's development of a proprietary performance consulting methodology, spearheading the introduction of the system to the market. Additionally, Howard worked at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) where he managed the development and delivery of a worldwide training architecture for a new business initiative.

Howard has achieved widespread recognition for his insight on career matters, being interviewed by such national media outlets as the Wall Street Journal and Landed.fm. He has also appeared as a career expert for NECN's "Careers in New England" and was a regular contributor to the former Boston Herald's  "Career Connection." Howard holds a Doctorate in Education from Harvard University and a law degree from The George Washington University where he also received his Bachelor of Arts. 

Dan Shepard, Senior Consultant, Keystone Associates

Dan Shepard has over 20 years of business experience, but has concentrated on career change and management for the last five years. His background includes 15 years of experience in sales management for both manufacturers and distributors, during which time he worked both domestically and internationally. Dan also worked for several years as an executive recruiter with investment management companies conducting searches nationwide.

Dan received a Master's degree in Career Counseling and Coaching from Lesley University entitled "Adults in Midlife Transition." He also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Nasson College. Dan's specializations include midlife transition, planning for the Third Age (or active retirement), networking and interviewing for introverts and adult learning.
